2010 Elderton Barossa Merlot

Matured for 14 months in French oak this Merlot displays an opaque black dark red colour with dark red hue. The nose exhibits aromas of very ripe morello cherry followed by some stewed plum, prune and spice. Medium bodied the palate possesses flavours of ripe morello cherry, dark plum, earthy cedar and spice. Very fine grained tannins with aftertaste of dark cherry, dark plum and earthy spice.
Cellar 2-3 years (2014-2015).
