2010 Edenmae Pinot Noir

Matured in French oak for 12 months. This Pinot Noir exhibits outstanding depth of colour. Opaque black dark crimson red colour with deep dark crimson red hue. The nose displays aromas of black cherry and dark plum followed by some spice and a hint of earth as an end note. Very full bodied and rich this is a real Shiraz drinkers Pinot Noir with flavours of ripe black cherry, dark plum and liquorice followed by a spicy back palate. Fine grained soft tannins with aftertaste of black cherry, liquorice and spice. Those looking for finesse in their Pinot Noir should probably steer clear of this large scaled effort.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2011-2015).
