2010 Domaine Chandon Shiraz

Superb opaque black purple colour with deep dark purple hue. The nose presents an aromatic profile of blackpepper and liquorice followed by some vanillin confectionary and spice. Medium weight the palate possesses an elegant taut structure with flavours of blackberry and liquorice followed by a touch of vanillin confectionary with some blackpepper and spice on the back palate. Dryish finish with sturdy yet fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, blackpepper and spice.
Cellar this well structured, youthful red for 5-6 years.
