2010 Devois de Perret

A blend of 40% Syrah, 30% Grenache and 30% Mourvedre. Opaque black dark crimson red colour with deep dark crimson black hue. Aromas of black cherries, black plums, liquorice and meaty spice. Medium weight palate but quite restrained and lacking any real presence or power. Flavours of black cherry, meaty earth like characters and spice. Dry slightly chalky tannins give the wine a lean texture. Moderate aftertaste of black cherries, earth and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years.
