2010 Delas Freres Saint-Espirit Cotes du Rhone

Deep dark crimson red colour with crimson red hue. Aromas of dark raspberry and dark cherry are followed by a touch of liquorice and some meaty characters. Light to medium weight the palate displays an uncomplicated flavour profile of dark raspberry and dark cherry followed by some light meaty spice like characters. Whilst quite elegant it also lacks depth. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherry, raspberry and meaty spice.
