Opaque black purple colour with deep very dark purple black hue. The nose offers up perfumed scents of blackberry, liquorice, some vanillin oak, dried meats and blackpepper. Elegantly structured the palate delivers rich yet restrained flavours of blackberry, liquorice, dried meats, subtle spicy toasty oak and blackpepper. Dryish finish with very fine grained solid tannin structure showing excellent integration. Long blackpepper, blackberry, liquorice and spice aftertaste.
