2010 Crowded House Pinot Noir

The fruit for this Pinot has been sourced from a variety of New Zealand’s top districts for the grape varietal – 40% Nelson, 30% Central Otago and 30% Marlborough.

Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with dark red mauve hue. Aromas of dark cherry and toasty oak are followed by some dark plum and spicy clove. The palate displays good weight and the flavours are quite generous – dark cherry, ripe dark plum and spice with some underlying toasty oak. Soft very fine grained tannins with aftertaste of ripe dark cherry, dark plum and spicy toasty oak.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2012-2015).
