2010 Coriole Shiraz - Stocktake Sale Item

Superb colour saturation – inky black dark crimson red colour with deep black crimson hue. The nose exhibits aromas of blackberry, liquorice and blackpepper followed by a touch of vanillin spice as an end note. Medium to full bodied but relatively tightly structured at present the palate delivers flavours of blackberry, liquorice and blackpepper with some spice on the back palate. Dry grippy finish with firm chalky tannins that give the wine a chewy mouthfeel. Aftertaste of liquorice, blackpepper and earthy spice. A wine that requires some patience.
Cellar 5-6 years.
