2010 Cloudy Bay Te Wahi Pinot Noir

Near opaque deep dark red dark purple colour with dark purple hue. The nose provides a perfumed sniff of black cherries intermixed with some violets and anise followed by some meaty notes and spice. Medium weight the palate possesses a darker fruit profile with flavours of dark ripe plum, some black cherries, meaty characters, cedar and spice. Very fine grained, yet solid supportive tannin structure. Good power wave with medium to long dark cherry, dark plum, meaty cedar and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
