2010 Clos du Val Napa Valley Zinfandel

Deep dark red black colour with crimson purple hue. The nose exhibits lifted dark ripe cherry and liquorice scents followed by some vanillin cedar and white pepper notes. Medium bodied the palate has intermingling flavours of dark cherry, liquorice and black raspberry followed by some cedar and white pepper on the back palate. Fine grained tannins with medium to long dark cherry, black raspberry and pepper aftertaste.
