2010 Chateau Tanunda Grand Barossa Shiraz

Maturation took place in a combination of new and older American and French oak hogsheads. Totally opaque black crimson colour with deep dark crimson red hue. On the nose liquorice allsorts top notes are followed by ripe blackberry, dark plum and confectionary. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses flavours of liquorice, blackberry and confectionary with some spice on the back palate. Fine grained softly textured tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, confectionary and spice.
