2010 Chateau La Fleur De Gay Pre - Arrival Offer
Although this is an outstanding wine, I was slightly under-whelmed given the number of great 2010 Pomerols that originated from this sector of the appellation. La Fleur de Gay's opaque ruby/purple-hued offering reveals notes of black raspberries, graphite and oak along with sweet fruit, medium to full body and outstanding ripeness and length. It may just be going through a more restrained phase of development, but while outstanding, it is not the blockbuster I had expected in this vintage. It should drink well for 15 or more years.Drink: 2013 - 2026.
