2010 Chateau Chauvin Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classe Pre-Arrival Offer
A deep blue/purple color is followed by enticing but primary aromas of black raspberries, lead pencil shavings and spring flowers. The wine is medium to full-bodied and moderately tannic with excellent purity, texture and depth. Slightly backward and foreboding, it may have just finished malolactic, so my rating could go higher.

This wine really develops on the palate, with mineral and blackberry character. Very polished and refined. Full yet elegant. Better than 2009.
