2010 Chartley Estate Black Crow Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with crimson red mauve hue. Lifted scents of dark cherries dominate the aromatic profile followed by some underlying ripe strawberry, cedar and spice. Light to medium weight the palate is fruit driven with a fleshy soft texture. Generous flavours of dark cherries and dark plum along with some spice and underlying meaty cedar like characters. Soft velvet smooth tannins. Good power wave with long dark cherry, plum, meaty cedar and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2012-2015).
