2010 Chapel Hill The Vicar Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark purple colour with very deep black dark purple hue. Intense ripe blackberry top notes are followed by scents of liquorice and dark plum with a light overlay of toasty oak and some vanillin spice. Full bodied the palate boasts a rich flavour profile of blackberry, dark chocolate and liquorice followed by some toasty oak and a spicy back palate. Solid tannin structure but fine grained in texture. Long blackberry, liquorice, dark chocolate and spicy toasted oak aftertaste.
Cellar 5-8 years.
