2010 Chapel Hill Il Vescovo Tempranillo

The fruit for this wine is sourced from McLaren Vale (80%) and Adelaide Hills (20%). Very deep near opaque dark crimson purple colour with deep dark crimson red hue. Liquorice fennel top notes are followed by some dark cherry and dark plum aromas. Rich and joosy the palate is driven by primary flavours of black cherry and dark plum followed by some chocolate and spice. Fine grained soft tannins make this wine suitable for immediate consumption. Aftertaste of dark cherry, liquorice and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2011-2014).
