2010 Brokenwood Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with dark crimson red hue. The nose is quite expressive with aromas of ripe dark cherries intermixed with strawberries followed by some meaty game like characters, a touch of earth and spicy cedar. Light to medium weight the palate delivers good power with flavours of ripe dark cherries, some meaty game like characters, cedar and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Medium to long dark cherry, dried meats and spicy cedar aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
