A very rich and well endowed Coonawarra Shiraz with power to burn.

Coonawarra’s reputation is firmly established for Cabernet Sauvignon however producers such as Bowen Estate are equally capable of producing Shiraz that rival some of the best from more renown Shiraz producing regions such as McLaren Vale and Barossa Valley.
Following in the footsteps of the 2008 and 2009 efforts, Bowen give consumers another classy offering that overdelivers at its price.

Matured in American oak barriques (225 litres) of which approximately one third was new for a period of around 22 months. Totally opaque black purple colour with deep dark purple red hue. Showing good lift the nose offers up scents of ripe blackberry and liquorice intermixed with some vanillin confectionary and a hint of spearmint.
