2010 Bird in Hand Nest Egg Adelaide Hills Shiraz

Totally opaque inky black purple colour with very deep dark purple hue. The nose provides a perfumed sniff of liquorice and blackberry followed by some light cedar, confectionary and spice. Medium to full bodied and quite refined in terms of both texture and structure the palate possesses generous flavours of liquorice, blackberry, confectionary and spice. Slightly dryish finish with very fine grained perfectly integrated tannins. Excellent depth with long liquorice, blackberry, vanillin confectionary and spice aftertaste.
