2010 Bass Phillip The Estate Pinot Noir

Deep dark crimson red colour with a slight haze (due to the fact that this wine is unfiltered) with a light red hue. The nose exhibits aromas of dark cherries alongside some sour cherries, violets, dark raspberries, subtle earth and spice. Light weight but with plenty of power the palate possesses flavours of ripe dark cherries, raspberries, subtle cedar, earth and spice. A supple mouthfeel combines with good acidity and silky smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, raspberry, earth and subtle spicy cedar. A Pinot of elegance and power.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
