Deep hazy dark red colour with dark red to brick red hue. Nosing reveals lifted aromas of dark cherries and raspberry followed by a touch of violets, some light earth and spice. Lighter bodied but very savoury and flavoursome the palate has flavours of dark ripe cherries, raspberry and strawberry followed by some very subtle complexing earthy game like characters and spice. Excellent power wave with velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, strawberries, subtle game and spice.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

Other Reviews…
Clear purple-red; an immediately attractive cherry and plum bouquet, then a positively silky palate, with the delicious fruit of the bouquet, the tannins superfine, the finish long and harmonious. Drink by 2020
