This wine is a foretaste of 2010 in South Australia. Damien Tshcarke, who unlike some winemakers is happy to call a spade a spade is effusive about the vintage, describing it as "Unbelievable...a vintage to put us all back on track and in faith that we really do make wine in the greatest place on earth".

Totally opaque black dark crimson colour with black dark crimson hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe blackcurrant and dark plum as top notes followed by a hint of liquorice with some underlying cedar and a touch of spice. Full bodied this is a typical rich mouthfilling Barossa Cabernet boasting an abundance of flavour. Ripe blackcurrant is dominate followed by some black plum and dark chocolate characters with a spicy back palate. Fine grained, slightly dryish but well integrated and balanced tannin structure. Long ripe blackcurrant, cedar and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 3-4 years (2014-2015).
Alc 14.5%
