2010 Amavi Cellars Walla Walla Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque inky black crimson colour with deep black crimson hue showing excellent colour saturation. The nose exhibits a dark fruit profile of very ripe blackcurrant and black plum with some underlying toasty cedar and spice. The palate is quite tight knit with a sense of austerity delivering flavours of blackcurrant, black cherry, cedar and spice which are coiled up in a dry firm grippy tannin structure which cuts short the finish. Chewy aftertaste of blackcurrant, cedar and spice.
