This quiet achiever of the Barossa continues its run of top notch Shiraz with this release matured for 24 months in French and American oak. The wine is dedicated to Grandfather Bernardo De Fazio, whose vineyard practices are maintained to this day.

Totally opaque black dark crimson red colour with very deep dark crimson red hue. Lifted aromas of ripe blackberry and dark plum are followed by some liquorice, vanillin oak and spice. Rich and voluptuous the palate possesses generously textured flavours of blackberry, dark ripe plum and liquorice followed by some spicy vanillin oak on the back palate. Velvet smooth tannins. Long ripe blackberry, liquorice and spicy vanillin oak aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years (2012-2017).
