The Yellowglen Winery takes it name from a gold mine sunk in the middle of what are the vineyards. Today the soil delivers gold of another kind.At Yellowglen, the philosophy has always been to produce premium quality. Every aspect the wine making, from the planting of the vines to the presentation, is designed to deliver premium quality. The wine is made in accordance with traditional sparkling wine production techniques. Approximately 30% of reserve wines along with parcels of malo lactic fermented base wine is included in the assemblage to add complexity. Higher levels of sugar are added at liqueuring to produce a 'creamy' mouth feel.Made from a blend of Chardonnay, Semillon and Pinot Noir. The Yellowglen Brut Cremant is a richer, fuller style than the Yellowglen Pinot Noir Chardonnay. It gets its name from the French word 'creamy'. The base wine used for the style is 'bigger' and 'rounder' giving additional flavour to the palate of the wine. The palate is full and soft with complex flavour and slight sweetness.11.5% alcohol volume.
