A blend of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Malbec and 2% Cabernet Franc with maturation taking place in new French oak for 21 months. Opaque deep dark red black colour with deep dark red hue. The nose displays superb lift and carry with a delightful sniff of ripe blackcurrant intermixed with dark mulberry followed by some cedar, tobacco and spice. The palate combines superb richness with an elegant structure delivering mouthfilling flavours of blackcurrant, mulberry, tobacco cigar box like characters and spicy cedar. Outstanding depth. Velvet smooth perfectly balanced tannin structure. Very long and persistent aftertaste of blackcurrant, mulberry infused tobacco, cigar box, cedar and spice.
