Totally opaque black dark crimson red colour with deep dark crimson hue. Ripe plummy top notes are to the fore followed by some very ripe blackberry, dark chocolate and spice. Full bodied and very rich the palate delivers a super ripe profile of black plum and liquorice followed by some cedary vanillin oak and spice. Solid but fine grained tannins. Medium to long black plum, liquorice and spicy cedar aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
