2009 Waitiri Creek Drummer Pinot Noir

Semi translucent crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. Lifted dark cherry and anise aromas are to the fore followed by some gamey cedar and spice characters. The palate is light to medium weight but lacking any real power wave of flavour. Dark cherry, earthy cedar and spice flavours. Fine grained tannins with aftertaste of dark cherry and spice.
Drink over the next 2 years (2011-2013).
