A relatively new addition to the Italian wine scene , the Villa Medoro is already a key player of the Abruzzo region. Thanks to the entrepreneurial spirit of Federica Morricone, Villa Medoro is reaping all acclaims and has sealed a position as provider of excellent wines from varietals such as Montepulciano, Trebbiano, Pecorino and Passerina, with the added bonus of one of the more modest pricings in the region.

Opaque black crimson red colour with deep dark crimson red hue. On the nose lifted ripe dark cherry and plum scents are followed by some leathery earth like characters and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses a generous almost joosy like flavour profile of ripe dark cherries and dark plum with some leathery overtones and a spicy back palate. Very fine grained tannins. Good depth with medium to long ripe dark cherry, earthy leather and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
