2009 Two Hands Barney's Block Shiraz

Totally opaque inky black colour with very deep dark red black hue. Intense ripe blackberry, dark plum and liquorice scents leap out of the glass followed by some dark chocolate, vanillin oak and spice notes. Large scaled and decadently rich the palate is bursting with a huge core of opulent fruit. Mouthfilling flavours of ripe blackberries and liquorice filling every corner of the palate followed by some black plum, dark chocolate, vanillin oak and subtle spice. Plush textured mouthfeel with velvet smooth tannins. Outstanding length with very long and persistent aftertaste of ripe blackberries, liquorice, dark chocolate, vanillin oak and spice. A big power packed red.
