2009 The Darling Pinot Noir

Semi translucent crimson mauve colour with mauve crimson hue. The nose displays a perfumed aromatic profile of dark cherry, anise and violets followed by some spice end notes. Light to medium bodied the palate displays generous flavours of anise, dark cherry and spice followed by a touch of cedar. Good power wave with fine grained tannin structure and aftertaste of dark cherry, anise and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2011-2014).
