2009 Te Kairanga John Martin Reserve Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with light brick red hue. Heady aromas of violets, dark ripe cherries, black plum, cedar, a touch of clove and spice create a perfumed bouquet. Rich with a weighty supple mouthfeel the palate boasts generous flavours of ripe dark cherries, black plums, anise, cedar and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Excellent power wave with long ripe dark cherry, black plum, cedar and spicy anise aftertaste. A richly textured opulent Pinot Noir.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
