2009 Tardieu Laurent Cuvee Speciale Cotes du Rhone

Very deep dark red colour with dark crimson red hue. The nose exhibits lifted scents of black raspberry and liquorice followed by some meaty characters and spicy end notes. Full bodied the palate is quite generous, framed by a dry, grippy, firm tannin structure. Flavours of black raspberry, spice, dried meats and earth are followed by an earthy black raspberry and spicy dried meat aftertaste.
Cellar 4-5 years (2016-2017).
