2009 Taltarni Chardonnay Pinot Noir Pinot Meunier Brut

The fruit for this Sparkling was sourced from cool climate vineyards located in Victoria (57%), South Australia (38%) and Tasmania (15%). The blend is comprised of 66% Chardonnay, 31% Pinot Noir and 3% Pinot Meunier. Excellent white frothy mousse showing good hold. Very fine and persistent bead with pale straw base wine colour. Aromas of citrus, baked bread, grapefruit and yeast lees. The palate is quite dry displaying flavours of citrus, yeast lees and baked bread. Clean crisp refreshing finish with aftertaste of citrus, baked bread and yeast lees.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2011-2014).
