2009 St. Michaels Vineyard Limited Release Shiraz

Totally opaque super saturated black purple colour with deep black purple hue showing paint like cling to the walls of the glass. The nose displays aromas of ripe blackberry, black plum and chocolate coated liquorice bullets followed by some vanillin confectionary like end notes. Full bodied and very rich the palate displays opulent flavours of ripe blackberry and black plum followed by dark chocolate and spice. Soft velvet smooth tannins with aftertaste of ripe blackberry and black plum.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2011-2015).
