2009 Shirvington Shiraz

Super saturated inky black colour with very deep black dark purple hue. The nose exhibits an intense aromatic profile of super ripe blackberry, liquorice, dark chocolate, dark plum and vanillin spice. Full bodied, densely concentrated and super rich the palate delivers voluptuous flavours of ripe blackberry, dark plum, liquorice and dark chocolate followed by some underlying cedary vanilla like characters. Velvet smooth tannins with long dark blackberry, ripe plum, liquorice and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 4-5 years (2016-2017).
