This well made sparkling Shiraz pours with a good frothy dark red tinged mousse. Deep dark red colour with exceptionally fine bead showing good persistence. Lifted ripe blackberry and dark plum aromas dominate the nose followed by some liquorice, a touch of earth and spice. Full bodied the palate delivers ripe succulent flavours of dark plum, liquorice and blackberry with a touch of underlying leather and spice. Almost creamy like mouthfeel. Long aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice, dark plum and vanillin oak.
