2009 S. C. Pannell Syrah

Opaque black purple colour with deep dark purple hue. Youthful plummy blackberry aromas are followed by a hint of liquorice and some toasty oak notes. Medium to full bodied the palate displays youthful inky blackberry and dark plum flavours with some underlying earthy cedar. Dry, slightly chalky tannins. Inky blackberry and plum aftertaste.
Cellar 3-4 years (2014-2015).
