2009 Rymill MC² Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Cabernet Franc

Matured in 1-3 year old French oak for 18 months. Opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue. The nose displays aromas of blackcurrant, tobacco leaf and mulberry followed by some dusty cedar end notes. Medium to full bodied the palate exhibits flavours of ripe blackcurrant, mulberry and spicy tobacco leaf with a cedary background. Fine grained although slightly dryish tannins. Aftertaste of mulberry, tobacco leaf and spicy cedar.
Cellar 2-3 years (2013-2014).
