2009 Ryder Shiraz

Matured for 15 months in a combination of French and American oak. Near opaque deep dark crimson purple colour with deep crimson hue. Youthful aromas of dark cherry, raspberry and confectionary. Medium to full bodied with flavours of black cherry, plum and spice followed by a toasty back palate. Soft fine grained tannins with aftertaste of spicy dark cherry, plum and toast. Lacks the weight, depth and concentration of its predecessor.
Drink over the next 2 years (2010-2012).
