2009 Ringbolt Cabernet Sauvignon

Idyllic vintage conditions have resulted in a perfectly ripened and generously flavoured Margaret River Cabernet that was matured for 12 months in a combination of American and French oak. Opaque, black dark crimson red colour with deep, dark crimson red hue. The nose displays lifted aromas of ripe blackcurrant and dark cherry with some underlying cedar and spice notes. Full bodied and possessing plenty of rich, ripe fruit the palate delivers flavours of blackcurrant, dark mulberry and cedar/ tobacco like qualities with a spicy back palate. Very fine grained, well integrated tannins. Long ripe blackcurrant, mulberry, cedar and spicy tobacco aftertaste.
Cellar 4-5 years.
