2009 Ram's Leap Shiraz

Opaque black dark red colour with dark red verging on brick red hue. Aromas of liquorice, plum, toasty oak and spice. Light to medium weight the fruit has all but dried out with subtle flavours of liquorice overlaid by some toasty oak with some spice present on the dry, slightly bitter finish. Dry, moderately chalky tannins. Modest length and aftertaste of liquorice and bitter toasty oak.
