2009 Quarisa Johnny Q Shiraz

Winemaker John Quarisa has over 24 years experience and along the way has been awarded some of the industry's highest accolades including both the Jimmy Watson and Stoddart Trophies. He honed his skills for producing full flavoured, exceptional value wines at Casella (the producers of hugely successful 'Yellow Tail' wines) and has since moved on to create his own label.

A terrific quaffer.
Opaque dark crimson red black colour with dark purple red hue. On the nose liquorice and aniseed top notes are followed by some black cherry with a toasty overlay and a hint of spice. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses generous aniseed, black cherry, toasty oak and spice flavours. Very fine grained soft tannins with medium to long aniseed, black cherry and spicy toasted oak aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2014-2015).
