The Four Corners Shiraz (formerly known as Montie’s Block) is produced from premium vineyards located across the Four Corners of Eden Valley. Any de-classified barrels from the Poonawatta 1880 and Cuttings vineyard are also included in the blend. Each parcel of fruit is assessed separately to ensure it delivers the best possible individual expression of the Eden Valley region. They are picked separately, fermented separately and oak matured separately, and after 18 months of maturation, are blended together.

A first class example of Eden Valley Shiraz.

Totally opaque black purple crimson colour with purple crimson hue. The nose displays aromas of liquorice, blackberry, dark chocolate, confectionary and spice. Full bodied, very rich and densely concentrated the palate delivers an opulent flavour profile of ripe blackberry, black plum and liquorice followed by some confectionary, spice and pepper on the back palate. Fine grained tannins with long aftertaste of ripe blackberry, liquorice, dark plum, spice and blackpepper.
