Deep dark red black colour with dark red verging on brick red hue. Aromas of mulberry, tobacco leaf and cedar are followed by some spice. Medium weight with a soft rounded mouthfeel, the palate has flavours of ripe mulberry, blackcurrant, some tobacco, cedar and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Good concentration with long aftertaste of ripe mulberry, tobacco, earthy cedar and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
