2009 Penny's Hill Skeleton Key Shiraz

A magnificent follow up to the 2008 release.
Totally opaque inky black purple colour with deep black dark purple hue. Superb nose with lifted aromas of blackberry, liquorice and spice followed by some confectionary end notes. Richly textured the palate delivers mouthfilling flavours of liquorice, blackberry, dark plum, spice and confectionary with some black pepper emerging on the back palate. Joosy and opulent with a velvet smooth tannin structure and very long liquorice, blackberry, confectionary and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years (2016-2017).
