2009 Penfolds Bin 407 Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque black dark crimson red colour with deep black dark red hue. The nose shows good perfumed lift with aromas of blackcurrant intermixed with some violets and dark mulberry followed by some dusty cedar and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate boasts generous flavours of ripe blackcurrant and mulberry followed by some cedar, light cigar box and spice characters. Good structure with very fine grained exceptionally well integrated tannin structure. Long blackcurrant, mulberry, cedary cigar box and spice aftertaste.
