Olivier Leflaive have both their own Domaines as well as having close relationships with many of Burgundy’s top growers from whom they purchase either grapes or must.
Some of these growers are ‘artists’ whose passion is as much their vines as their wines, a guarantee that Olivier Leflaive insists on when sourcing grapes, ensuring that the highest standards are met to uphold the reputation of the great vineyards and Climats of Burgundy. Olivier Leflaive wines have become an essential feature of the Burgundian landscape as well as being a  "must have" for all respectable cellars.

An all but hidden trace of sulfur does not particularly inhibit the predominant character of honeysuckle from freely expressing itself, along with the background traces of spice and citrus, both of which can be found on the rich, generous and delicious middle weight flavors that possess plenty of mid-palate fat and good if not truly distinguished length. This stylish effort is really quite forward, especially within the context of the appellation and it should drink well relatively early on.Tasted: Feb 01, 2011.
