Semi translucent crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose shows good intensity with distinct top notes of dark cherries followed by some dark plum, anise, spice and a hint of stalk as an end note. Light to medium weight palate flavours of dark cherry, spice , cedar and stalk. Dry, slightly bitter finish with moderately chalky tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherry, spicy earth and a touch of stalk.
Cellar 3-4 years (2014-2015).
