2009 Mountadam Vineyards Estate High Eden Chardonnay

Matured in French oak for 9 months, 60% of which was new. Brilliant straw colour with distinct greenish tinge around the edges and pale straw hue. The nose displays top notes of white peach and cashew followed by some spicy oak and a hint of nougat. The palate boasts excellent concentration and richness along with a very creamy texture delivering a mouthfilling flavour profile of white peach, spicy toasted oak and cashew with some nougat end notes. Soft acid finish. Excellent depth with long aftertaste of white peach, cashew, spice and nougat.
Drink over next 3-4 years (2011-2015).
